Sanctuary at Westworld Director of Golf
As an employee with SunCor Golf for more than thirteen years, John Patzwald worked his way from player services, to assistant professional, to Director of Golf. His dedication to SunCor Golf has been instrumental to the success of many SunCor Golf courses. As Director of Golf, John is responsible for overseeing daily golf course operations, hiring and training of employees, instituting junior golf programs, regulating policies and procedures and merchandising golf shops at Sanctuary Golf Course. John formerly was head golf professional at Coral Canyon Golf Club in St. George, Utah. Prior to working at Coral Canyon, John was an assistant golf professional at Sun Ridge Canyon Golf Club in Fountain Hills, Arizona. An Iowa native, John graduated from National Louis University in Chicago, Illinois, with a degree in Behavioral Science in 1986. In addition, he’s a Class-A member of the Professional Golfers’ Association of America.
John’s dedication to the clients of Gompers Habilitation Center is clear, through his support of Gompers fundraising endeavors and vocational enclaves where Gompers clients who learn valuable skills at Sanctuary, can be part of the working community.
