MaryLou Davis
Chairman of the Board
Born and raised in Roswell, NM, MaryLou Davis attended New Mexico State University and graduated with a degree in early childhood education. She taught in Las Cruces, NM for four years then moved to Phoenix. Mrs. Davis received her Master’s degree in Education, with an emphasis on Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, from Grand Canyon University. She taught in the Phoenix Elementary School District #1 and at Phoenix College.
Mrs. Davis has served on several boards including Camp Fire USA, FAAST, Foster Angels of Arizona and the New Mexico State University Foundation, to name a few. She has been a Court appointed special advocate (CASA) in Phoenix for several years. Mrs. Davis has served on the Gompers’ Board of Directors since 2000 and is currently Chairman of the Board. Gompers is proud and very fortunate to have the insight and experience of Mrs. Davis, who continually demonstrates her dedication to Gompers mission and the unique population we serve.
