Gompers' on-site warm water pool provides therapy services to the community when those individuals meet the standards and scope for appropriateness. Aquatic Therapy Treatment refers to the use of specific warm water based techniques, exercises, and methods or modalities to develop, improve, and restore function, compensate for this dysfunction, and minimize disability. The purpose is to provide individualized or small group aquatic therapy treatments for clients living in a community setting. Clients are evaluated and treated by our Certified Recreational/Aquatic Therapy team.

A treatment problem list may include:

• limitations of motion

• weakness in-coordination

• inadequate balance reactions

• inadequate head control

• inadequate trunk stability

• decreased posterior alignment

• respiratory issues

• perceptual/spatial issues

• hypersensitivity

• pain

• sensory integration problems

• decreased functional transfers and mobility

Gompers' Aquatic and Strength Programs are also open to the public on a private basis, and third party needs. Gompers' nationally trained therapists customize sessions for orthopedic restrictions, arthritis with fibromyalgia symptoms, chronic pain conditions, movement difficulties as a result of an injury or a stroke.
