Learning skills while earning a pay check

" Independence supported by gainful employment is a basic tenet of American culture."

Nationally there are over 12 million Americans with disabilities. Many of whom have skills and desires to compete for jobs in the public work place. Gompers' Vocational Services Program has opened career paths for many disabled individuals who were once thought to be unemployable.

Gompers' On-Site Industrial Work Center Program provides training, wages and support services to over 65 adult men and women whose disabilities require more instruction and supervision than may be provided in the community work place. As a service company, Gompers' Work Center successfully contracts with all areas of business and industry to complete quality work including a variety of assemblies, inspection, reclamation, manufacturing, sorting, rework, and mailing services.Operating Light Machinery
