Friends, staff, corporate and community partners will have until May 7, 2010 to take part in our 2010 Annual Campaign to complete phase II of the Playground and Accessible Garden project at Gompers Habilitation Center. This $125,000 campaign focuses on building the accessible garden with ramadas and seating all designed to create a safer, accessible environment for individuals with disabilities, for both Gompers clients, and those in the community.
Our "Boundless Playground" will open in the Spring of 2010 and we are truly excited as we close in on this milestone with the completion of the remaining renovations -- by transforming the old playground into a beautiful accessible garden for our clients. The garden will complete the expansion of the recreational activities inside and out our main facility.
You can help Gompers build on its accomplishments and future contributions to our community by making a lasting impression at the main facility.
Donors will help pave the paths that connect the walkways to our new playground and garden. Ramadas and special seating will be placed along the new paths and other locations around the campus. Your sponsorship of a brick, etched permanently with your name, will be a lasting reminder of your partnership and support of Gompers and those we serve.
